I possess extensive experience in information security, including nearly two decades with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, specializing in investigative cybersecurity and risk assessment. I have a proven track record in triaging, investigating, and securing high-tech systems against emerging cyber threats. My training and experience have enabled me to remain at the forefront of technology, combating new threats and implementing effective strategies to mitigate and resolve complex cyber challenges. Throughout my career as a special agent I’ve consistently approached my role as one of service, rather than one of authority. That service has been acknowledged by my receipt of numerous awards to include the FBI Director's Medal of Excellence, DOJ’s Certificate for Outstanding Performance, consistent yearly high-performance appraisals and having been awarded "Officer of the Year" on two separate occasions by the Exchange Club of Saginaw. My focus on complex, high-tech cyber threats has afforded me the ability to grow my understanding of emerging trends in the information technology field. Whether an assignment was requested or assigned, it has always been important to me that the work be done correctly. I approach new challenges as an opportunity to learn and build new skills. Through the duration of both my professional and personal life, I've demonstrated a desire to improve my knowledge through formal educational opportunities, training courses and advanced industry certifications. My goal is to be a positive example to my colleagues, the public and most importantly my family. I have advanced experience in incident response, threat management, and community relations. Special Agent / Digital Forensic Examiner
January 2006 to January 2012
As an FBI Computer Analysis Response Team (C.A.R.T) digital forensic examiner, I conducted comprehensive forensic examinations of digital evidence, including computers, mobile devices, networks, and cloud-based services. My responsibilities included acquiring and analyzing digital data to identify and extract critical information such as user activity logs, deleted files, communication records, and multimedia files. I prepared detailed forensic reports and testified as an expert witness in court proceedings regarding digital evidence and methodologies. I also assisted in the execution of search warrants and conducted legal review of associative materials related to digital evidence. Furthermore, I provided training and guidance to law enforcement personnel on digital evidence collection and handling procedures. Throughout my tenure, I maintained a strong understanding of current forensic techniques, tools, and legal standards while ensuring adherence to agency policies and procedures. While working as a digital forensic examiner I was recognized for my efficiency, technical ingenuity and the volume of work conducted which led to the successful criminal investigations.

Microsoft Windows System Engineer
February 2005 to December 2005 As a system engineer for Thomson Gale, I was tasked with the maintenance and upgrade of Microsoft Windows servers and the consolidation of a traditional server infrastructure to a virtualized VMWare solution. The job role included the consolidation of over two hundred physical servers into a simplified VMware/EMC environment. Over the course of my time at Thomson Gale I worked with VMWare, HP and EMC to design and implement a hardware/software solution which reduced overall costs to the company and provided a reliable technical solution saving Thomson Gale several hundred thousand dollars in legacy hardware maintenance expenses.Amorphous Network Security

July 2000 to December 2004 My work with AlixPartners, LLC began as an entry level network support technician. After approximately three years, I was promoted to a position of team lead, head of operations. As the senior member of our information technology team I was eventually promoted to a position as the head of the company’s expanding European technical operations. After relocating to England I was tasked with the development and implementation of numerous offices throughout Europe. I was responsible for all technical operations and was the sole point of contact for issues throughout AlixPartners European branches. This eventually led to the successful build out of four offices located in Italy, the United Kingdom and two offices in Germany.
Hobbies & Activities
I teach cybersecurity, online safety, coding, and robotics to children in my community.I am a member of Central Michigan University’s Cybersecurity Advisory Board, as well as the Information Technology Advisory Boards for Bay Arenac ISD and Saginaw Career Center.I have provided technical guidance to the FBI through its Technical Advisory Group (TAG) and am a certified FBI Adjunct Professor specializing in cyber investigative and high tech crimes.I conduct community outreach, educational programs, and presentations on cybersecurity and online safety for businesses, individuals, and community groups.In addition to my professional work, I am an avid runner, technology enthusiast, and enjoy outdoor activities.
